Our Choir. the smallest Confirmation Class in the life of our Church, three youth and one adult dedicated themselves to our Lord in the solemn service of Confirmation of their baptismal vows. We also received four new members by Reaffirmation of their faith. The solemn celebration of our 95th Anniversary took place on November 9th. In both of our Hungarian and English worship services we celebrated holy communion of our Lord. In both services, our former pastor, The Reverend Nicholas Novak, preached the Gospel eloquently as always, and The Reverend Paul Kovács and our Pastor were the liturgists, all three of them serving communion. In the 4 p.m. special anniversary service, also The Reverend Nicholas Novak preached the word of God, assisted by a dozen and a half fellow clergy. We would like to thank Reverend Novak for his excellent preaching, his friendship and his love toward our church. We also had a special banquet at 6:30 p.m. when we were honored by the presence of about 400 guests, dignitaries, representatives of church organizations and of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America. We would like to thank also with a debt of gratitude our General Chairman, Carl Kosa, who underwrote the expenses of our 76- page 95th Anniversary Book. This book is one of our most complete historical documents, and we owe a profound thanks to Mr. Julius Pongracz and Mrs. Dolores Salva for their excellent editorship, together with Mr. William F. Smith for the design and art, also Mrs. Teri Krul for the photography and the Rt. Rev. Zoltán D. Szucs, Mrs. Julia Bara and Mrs. Rose Huszti for the translations and advisorship. Thanks to all who made this 99
