Dr. Vitéz Ferenc, püspök: A Kálvin Egyházkerület

of Christ, at the reception of his Honorary Doctorate at the Theological Seminary of Debrecen, on June 23rd; also accompanying him to Transylvania and at the meetings of various church leaders and dignitaries of Hungary. Dr. Sherry and Pastor Szucs also represented the United Church of Christ at the General Synod Meeting of the United Church of Germany, in Berlin, from June 28th to July 5th.

During these three years, Pastor Szucs served as member of the Board of Directors of The Hungarian Reformed Federation in America. He believed, that this practical, charitable arm of our Reformed faith, the Federation and our churches are destined to build together a better Hungarian future in America. They were born together as an expression of our Reformed faith here. They supported each other mutually and their interwoven destiny is inseparable.

There is joy and commitment, sacrificial work and faithfulness in the life of our Christian Education activities. It is apparent in our Vacation Bible School, Sunday School activities and Confirmation preparatory classes, just as well as in our Bible Studies. Praise be also to God for our Caring Circle and for the prayers which strengthen the spiritual life of our church.

PRAISE AND GLORY, HOMAGE AND THANKS BE GIVEN TO OUR GOD FOR ALL THOSE IN OUR CHURCH, WHO GENEROUSLY PAID THE COST OF THEIR DISCIPLESHIP IN THE LIFE OF OUR CHURCH FAMILY, WHO REJOICED AS DISCIPLES IN OUR LORD AND IN EACH OTHER!
