The church was honored by the election of the Minister to be General Secretary of the Calvin Synod, and Secretary- Treasurer of the Eastern Classis. In the community he serves as Secretary of the ecumenical Ministerium, and he was President of the Youth Services Commission for the 93,000 residents of New Jersey’s fifth largest city.

The Consistory was headed up by Chief Elder John Kelemen and the Assistant Chief Elder Frank Kara, with Esther Simon the Secretary and Barbara Halifko Treasurer. The fine work of the Lorantffy Women’s Guild was led by Florence Pastor, who completed seven years as its President, and has recently been succeeded by Laynn Fanich. The Sunday School is under the superintendancy of Jolene Papp, with the Minister as advisor.
