202 BETHLEN NAPTÁR ÉSZAK-AMERIKAI MAGYAR PRESBITERIÁNUS GYÜLEKEZETEK HÍREI Az itt leközölt statisztikai összefoglalás a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) 1984-ben megjelent hivatalos kiadványának szövege alapján készült a nyilvántartott magyar (hátterű) presbiteriánus egyházaknak az 1983-as esztendővel kapcsolatosan beküldött jelentései nyomán. Ezen egyházközségek az illetékes amerikai presbiteriánus egyházmegyék kereteiben élik életüket; lelkészeiken keresztül ezen egyházak nagy része képviselteti magát a Magyar Presbiteriánus Konferencia (Hungarian Presbyterian Church Conference) közösségében is. A konferencia elnöke 1984. december 31-ig e sorok írója volt; a jegyző-pénztárosi tisztséget eddig is és ezután is Nt. Endrei Ferenc, Cleveland-i lelkipásztor látja el. A Konferencia újonnan megválasztott elnöke Nt. Jalsó Sándor, Brownsville-i lelkipásztor. A Konferencia évi gyűlését rendszerint a Lelkészegyesület szeptemberi öszszejövetele kapcsán tartja meg az előre meghirdetett időpontban. A lelkipásztori állásban történő üresedés esetében Nt.
