1985 125 VINTONDALE Lelkipásztor: Benedek József Chief Elder: Mr. John Beres. In our Vintondale Church we are truly a small group, but the few that are there are truly God’s stewards. Worship Services are held every second and fourth Sunday of each month. With a few of the devoted members the Pastor has helped in repairing the fire exit stairway and through the generosity of the Beres family we have completely carpeted the Sanctuary. Also, we received new collection plates, which were given by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Boné. Mrs. Boné is the daughter of Mrs. Julia Beres. Since we do not have the full use of portions of the building we are unable to promote any functions for the good of the Church. Statistics: Marriages: 0; Weddings: 0; Deaths: 0. “Now the just shall live by faith; but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” Hebrews 10:38-39. MUNHALL, PA Lelkipásztor: Kovács A. Sándor Chief Elder: Mr. Joseph Revesz. Thank God for His faithful servants! This is our prayer for 1984! Our church has prospered both spiritually and financially this past year. With the election of five new elders to our consistory, we have accomplished a great deal this year — especially in the maintaining of our property. For the past several years our church building and property has been grossly neglected. Our church has literally been deteriorating and falling apart. We have finally overcome the temptation to glory in our savings account and have begun to use our finances for the Lord’s work and for the upkeep of His house. In February we elected five new officers who, I am sure, will prove to be faithful stewards of God’s time and money. We thank God for giving to us servants who come to church and leave more than they take home with them. We look forward to our future with great anticipation, hope and expectation.
