Dr. Eva M. Fábián, Dean of Central Classis, who spoke on the subject: “Biblical and Theological Themes in the Woman-Question.” She was most eloquent and persuasive, and was very well received. The congregation hosted the Community Lenten Service and the World Day of Prayer Service. Elmer Charles, the Chief-Elder of our congregation is retiring in 1984 as National President of the William Penn Association, after 20 years of faithful and fruitful service. We thank God for his loyalty to the cause of Hungarian fraternalism, and ask God’s richest blessings upon his years of well deserved retirement.
