132 BETHLEN NAPTÁR A Women’s Guild egy csoportja HAMMOND, IND. Lelkipásztor: Dr- Donald G. Capp Since our report for 1981 was omitted last year, we are including both 1981 and 1982 in this report. The pulpit search committee, after months of deliberate study and consideration, unanimously submitted Rev. Dr. Donald G. Capp to be con­sidered by Faith United Church for the position of Pastor. Acting on the report of the pulpit search committee and with the approval of the consistory, the congregation at a special meeting held on June 21st, 1981, unanimously voted for the Rev. Dr. Donald G. Capp as their pastor. Rev. Dr. John Butosi, Bishop of the Calvin Synod, notified the congrega­tion that Rev. Capp had received Privilege of Call in the United Church of Christ upon the unanimous recommendation of the Committee on Church Ministry of the Calvin Synod. The Conference Council of the Synod as Placement Committee also unanimously approved Rev. Capp’s candidacy for the pastorate of Faith United Church of Christ. Reverend Capp’s first priority was to act upon the promise of the consistory to resume the Hungarian worship services to the wishes of the Hungarian congregation, it was decided that on the second Sunday of each month a Hungarian worship service would be held with the Rev. László L. Kovács of W. Lafayette serving in the pulpit. The pastor, Rev. Capp invited members to express their views at the Needs, Assessment and Goal Setting Meetings held for two whole days. After
