building and rebuilding our steeple. In this new year we will undertake the major project of renovating the exterior of our church building. Outside of major repairs, we are grateful for the many members who undertake the responsibility of maintaining our facility.

Calvin Church continues to work for our neighborhood through memberhip in the Birmingham Neighborhood Coalition, through our hosting of a Parent’s Anonymous Group and through our support of Toledo Street Ministry. We are active in the Toledo Area Council of Churches and support many domestic and overseas missions of the United Church of Christ.

The social life of our members is enchanced by several adult clubs, youth fellowships and athletic teams. Our cultural appreciation, meanwhile, is strengthened by weekly Hungarian language and embroidery classes and a Hungarian dance group for our young people. We are also ourrently involved with other neighborhood churches, Ohio Northern University and Kent State University in the making of a film on the cultural and ethnic identity of our neighborhood. The jHungarian language and culture will continue to be an important part of our church life in the years ahead.

And so, as we enter a new year, we go forward with a prayer in our hearts, that the Lord guide us, as we seek to better serve Him. May God’s grace and peace be with all of you, our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Mások rég eltűntek Nyom nélkül a múltban Ö ma is velünk van Lelke erejével Károli Gáspárral Szól hozzánk az Isten Zengő magyar nyelven Krisztus igéjével.
