1981 BETHLEN NAPTAR 199 matrimony. Their daughter, Charlene is married to Robert Cross, Jr., their son “Little Charlie” was always the pride and joy of his grandfather. Charlie served his country in the Army four years, four months and four days during World War II, half of this time overseas. In civilian life he was employed by US Steel, Duquesne Plant as a motor inspector engineer, for more than 43 years. Beyong and above the faithful labor in his beloved church, the Hungarian Reformed Church of Duquesne, Charlie also served in various offices of the Hungarian Reformed Church in America, Western Classis. He was elected as delegate to several conventions of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America, and served on its Board as a director since 1970. On December 16th, 1979 Charles Nagy, Jr. returned his immortal soul to our Creator. Charles Nagy, Jr. may not have been one of the most widely known persons in American Hungarian Reformed history, but he was one of the most faithful and reliable laborer in our midst. Our Federation, our denomination, and our congregation, his family and his friends will surely miss him! Kalassay Erzsébet 1898—1980 Vasváry Ödönné Bridgeporton született 1898-ban. 1916-ban ment feleségül Vasváry Ödön lelkipásztorhoz, akivel Buffalo, Pittsburgh és Cleveland református egyházaiban szolgált. 1935-ben az Amerikai Magyar Református Egyesület férjét számvevőnek választotta meg, ekkor telepedtek le Washington, D.C.-ben. Vasváry Ödönné egyházaink és az Egyesület munkájában tevékeny részt vett. 1940-től állami szolgálatban volt mint fordító. Gyászolják fia, leánya, három testvére, két bátyja, négy unokája, nyolc dédunokája, az egész kiterjedt rokonság, egyházaink és a Református Egyesület tagsága. Szolgálatáért Isten adja meg neki az Élet Koronáját. Áldás és béke poraira! Nt. dr. Vitéz Ferenc Mrs. ETHEL NAGY 1920-1980 Mrs. Ethel Nagy died on May 3rd, 1980. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Darnay and was born on May 27th, 1920 in McKeesport, Pa. where she was raised in the Hungarian Reformed Church. She was married to the late Charles Nagy for 34 years. Charles passed away in December 1979.
