Deborah Mondon: "Something to do, Something to love, Something to hope for”
216 BETHLEN NAPTÁR lions. A photo display, entitled “IN OUR YOUTH" featured pictures of our staff and residents as BABIES or young children. This was a source of great amusement and helped us recall our outstanding childhood events. Local organizations put on several Christmas Activities for us, with visits, music and caroling. The Ligonier Womens Club and The VFW put on elaborate parties with presents and Santa Claus. As you can see, our residents have opportunities for recreation and entertainment at the Bethlen Home. This is a type of therapy that everyone needs. We have a Registered Occupational Therapist, Rick Allison, as our Program Consultant. In a recent interview in The Greensburg Tribune Review, Mr. Allison is quoted as saying he was “really impressed with the services offered by the Bethlen Home Activities Department.” With the co-operation we received for the 1979 Bazaar we will be able to continue to provide “SOMETHING TO DO, SOMETHING TO LIVE, SOMETHING TO HOPE FOR” to our residents.
