We fight for the gospel and against human nature. We may calmly state that the power of the Gospel maintains us. Our congregation has pledged one thousand dollars over three years for the expansion of the Old Folks Home in Ligonier. We also have an annual Bethlen Home Sunday. Last year we renovated the manse for about $3000,— this year we will work on the church building. Our congregation is led by an 18 member consistory. Mr. Joseph Szallár is chief elder. Mrs. Bertalan Sipos is president of the Women’s Society. Mr. Alexander Huri leads the Junior Women’s Guild. Mr. Imre Kovács, Jr. is Sunday School superintendent.
