218 BETHLEN NAPTÁR Lodge 247, of the Consistory of Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Buffalo 32nd. degree, of Ismaila Shrine Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., Buffalo, and the Tonawanda Shrine Club. Mr. and Mrs. (Helen) Syposs enjoy their beautiful, new, modem home in Tonawanda, placing special emphasis on their lawn and shrubbery in the spring and summertime. GAZEL (GÉZA) VESPREMI, re-elected at the 1956 Convention of the Supreme Council of the Hungarian Reformed Federation, will now be serving his second term in this capacity. This confidence was well-merited, since he did a fine piece of work during his first term, a fact that did not pass unrecognized. Mr. Vespremi was born in Monaville, W.Va., completed nine grades in the public schools, became a miner, and later took up insurance work. For the past 15M> years he has been a storekeeper. He is a member of the Grace Reformed Church of Allen Park, Michigan, his present home town. On March 1, 1937, Mr. Vespremi joined the Federation at Monaville under the late Michael B. Tusai. He immediately accepted the position of Branch Secretary (Branch 213) at Logan, W. Va. He took part in a membership drive and was declared winner for a trip to Hungary in 1938. He left Logan in 1941 and upon moving to Detroit became a member of Branch 35. As Assistant Treasurer of his church, Deacon of the Consistory, and serving on many committees, Mr. Vespremi leads an active church life. He is a Cub Scout Committeeman. In his spare time he enjoys baseball, bowling, and fishing. Mr. and Mrs. (Donna) Vespremi have three children: Donald 9, Ronald 6, and Kathy-Ann 20 months. JOSEPH STEPHEN MOLNÁR, a second generation American born in Passaic, N.J., is a graduate of the Passaic Public Schools. His education and vision were further broadened when he spent two years in Hungary with his parents. He has been an employee of the United States Rubber Co. for the past 18 years, where he is Supervisor. A staunch Calvinist, Mr. Molnár has been an active, dynamic church member since early childhood, attending church, Sunday School, and youth group meetings regularly, and assuming leadership whenever called upon to do so. For the past 12 years he has been treasurer of the Hungarian Evangelical and Reformed Church of Passaic and a member of the Passaic-Clifton Council of Churches. Though his primary interest is his church, he is civic-minded also, in which field he has proved an asset to his community.
