BETHLEN NAPTÁR 229 The synodical commissions have done much work in inform­ing the church youth of the special denominational program during the year. The Commission on Christian Action carried out the promotion of two projects (International Christian Uni­versity in Japan and National Mission Church Building) which the Pittsburgh conference adopted. By the time of the Toledo meeting, the goal of $400 for the projects was almost met, and the conference again proposed another $400 project including the International Christian University and South American Student Scholarship. Two new officers were elected to the synodical cabinet at Toledo — Eleanor Komjati as president and Wilbur Stell as treasurer. Both are from Cleveland, O. Eleanor is a junior at Ohio University and plans to attend Lancaster Seminary to re­ceive her M. A. in religious education. Wilbur is a middler at Lancaster Seminary. The vice-president and National Council delegate is Bobby Banyai of South Norwalk, Conn. Vilma Szabó of Pittsburgh is the secretary. August Molnár of Elmhurst, 111., was named president ex-officio at Toledo. The new chairman of the Commission on Christian Faith is William Nagy of Chicago and student at Eden Theological Seminary. The other commission chairmen are: Stephen Szabó, Action; and Ernest Miko, Fellowship. Both are students at Lan­caster and from Passaic, N. J. The members of the three synodical commissions (Faith, Action and Fellowship) include: Ernest Racz, Passaic, N. J.; Helen Galyas, Toledo; Irene Angi, Dayton, O.; Irene Molnár, Cleveland, O.; Irene Dicső, Fairfield, Conn.; Coleman Gyure, Chicago, 111.; Cynthia Bruchac, South Norwalk, Conn.; and Rose Ellen Palfi, Indiana Harbor, Ind.
