the MG-wing by the Department of Product Design and Agricultural Machinery, the southern part of the riverside wing and the central tract of the MM-wing by the Department of Building Materials and Engineering Geology, the northern part of the riverside wing by the Department of Applied Mechanics, the northern part of the MM-wing by the Department of Railway Vehicles, whilst the former mill building by the Department of Machinery Parts.

In 2009 designs were made to partially convert the interiors, remodel and modernize the first floor. At the same time the additional development of the corridor was demolished in the riverside wing and thus the secondary interior communicating room ceased to exist. The thoroughfare between MM and MG building wings was restored. The projection room within the large lecture hall of the MG was pulled down. On the completion of this remodelling project, the Department of Machine and Product Design moved into this area. It would be advisable to restore the original spatial organization of this building when it comes to further reconstruction as it has already been done at more than one place. As of today, the most disturbing part of the development is the odd and alien structure of the former mill building towering next to the northern wing. Should this be pulled down, then the original harmony of the whole building could be restored.
