Róbert Rigó Összefoglalók CASES AND CONCLUSIONS ABOUT PEOPLE’S COURT OF KECSKEMÉT The essay presents the operation, specific features and the administration of justice of the People’s Court of Kecskemét which was one of the 25 people’s court established after World War II. The documents of people’s court’s value as a source got an important part in the thesis. People’s court, people’s prosecution and political police cooperated closely in researching impeaching war and antidemocratic criminals in Kecskemét. It can be stated that the primary objective of operating these organisations was to get even the old elite of the society and to frighten the citizens on behalf of creating the conditions to organise the one-party system. The essay divides the lawsuits against people into four groups. It contains also consequences concerning people’s courts and technical literature. 427
