LÁSZLÓ OROSZ PROBATIONES CALAMI (POETICAL SKETCHES) Tibor Iványosi-Szabó has found more than 100 poems among the papers of the 17th century Archives of Kecskemét. These poems are some kind of poetical sketches, copies of texts circulating in printed and handwritten forms, comparatively accurate notes (which are partly versions) of songs kept in remembrance and some of them can be efforts of composing an own poem. The publicated texts are remarkable memories of Kecskemét and the communal poetry that was connection with the high-level poetry too. The subject of the texts is mostly religion and a lot of them are connected with church service. Among them are more psalm fragments, fragments of Protestant church-songs and biblical citations presented at Catholic masses. Probably some of the poems are written by local poets.
