Court. Each of the four political parties participating in the National Committee shall delegate one member to the People’s Court, and the parties shall make known the names of the staff members not later than the 31st of this month. 3. Shop committees will be organized in the public works of the municipality. The Council of the Trade Unions is hereby requested to submit draft proposals to the Committee within seven days. 4. A committee of four shall be set up, composed of delegates from each political party, with the mayor or one of the deputy mayors as chairman, for the immediate re-instatement of the clerks employed in municipality and public works dismissed or persecuted by the reactionary regime. 5. To prevent the epidemic menacing the city, a health committee of six members, nominated by the organization of free doctors shall be set up under the direction of Dr. Ele­mér Csordás, chief medical officer of Budapest. The Committee of Five has invested this health committee with full powers to take over pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical stores, medical and other health personnel. 6. A National Relief Commission, chaired by Zoltán Gergő, shall be immediately set up in Budapest. The Committee appoints him the general secretary of the Relief Commis­sion and instructs him to recruit a staff for the Relief Commission with the co-operation of the Smallholders’ Party and the Social Democratic Party, and to begin work immediately. 7. The National Committee does not think it desirable to invite other parties to partici­pate in its work at the present juncture, but in view of his past career in public life, Ernő Bródy, the former democratic member of Parliament, is hereby personally invited to become a member of the full Committee, and we appeal to the heads of the Roman Catholic, Evangelical and Reformed churches, and the head of the Jewish community, to delegate a member each to the Budapest National Committee. 8. Dr. Imre Oltványi is appointed temporary head of the National Bank and the Centre of Banking Institutions. 9. József Fischer, engineer, is appointed chairman of the Budapest Board of Public Works, and it has simultaneously been decided to set up a special committee in the Board of Public Works to which each of the political parties participating in the National Commit­tee shall delegate two members. 10. With the co-operation of the parties a committee of five is being set up to reorganize the Hangya Co-operative. This committee shall elect its own chairman. 11. The general secretary’s report on the re-organization of certain public offices and undertakings, particularly the Hungarian State Railways, is approved.
