Building ‘the Hungarians of the Kalotaszeg (Tara Cälatei) region build with wood, and, with the exception of some of the Székely regions, no other Hungarians are able to understand and express the naturalness of this material and its technical qualities, nor construct in such a clear and logical way with this material as are the natives of Kalotaszeg (Tara Cälatei). These people derived their structural knowledge from the gothic, but their sense of proportion, their distribution of pattern and function reflects their own individual logic.
