Dear Members: Our Board of Directors for 1965 held the first meeting of the year on Wednesday, January 20th,1965, Many important matters were dis­cussed and several of them will be brought to the regular meeting on January 27th, 1965 to be acted on. We will advise the members of these important developments in our next Column. Brother EX­PRESIDENT William VIRÁG was reelected Chairman of The Board for 1965 in appreciation for his fine job in 1964-Our Social Chairlady, Helen GROSSMAN asked that the mem, bers be advised that our Matzo Fund Card Party will be held on Saturday Night, April 3rd 1965 at Yorkville Temple- Donations will be appreciated for this excellent cause. Please mark your calendars of this date that you might attend if at all possible. The date was moved from Wednesday night to Saturday night to accomodate those people who don’t like to be out during the week- Show your support of Sister GROSSMAN and her Committee by sending in a Do nation now. In addition to dona­tion’s we need a Door Prize and a Raffle item. Won’t you please help us out! The Entertainment Committee for 1965 held their first meeting of 1965 after the Board of Direc­tors meeting. DEAR MEMBERS: We hope by now you all enjoyed reading our detailed column re­garding the lovely Installation Ce­remonies wich took place on Jan- 6th. We also hope you took notice of the picture of our ex and new officers for 1965. At this time all the officers, old and new, would like to thank dr. Zoltán Klar and Mr. George Hoffmann, photogra­pher of the Az Ember newspaper for the photo and fine article writ ten about the JÓKAI on honor of this great occasion-At this time I would like to cor­rect an error made in my Jan- 16 th Column. I mentioned that the privilege of honoring our ex.offi­­cers was given to Dr- Henry Katz former doctor. I apologize for this error as Dr. KATZ is a retired DOCTOR for our organization for many years. He also served as PRESIDENT of our Society twice, and has always been a very active and fine member in every way possible. We were happy to receive a thoughtful note from our Sister, Mrs- Charlotte Chernin, who is spending 6 months in Florida- It was nice to know she is thinking of us and also wishing good luck to all our new officers. AH the new officers wish to ex­press their thanks to Mrs- HART­MAN and sons, and our ex-chair­­lady, Mrs. Elvira FRIED, for sen­ding, telegrams wishing them good luck for the new year. Petri Marika hangja és ru­hája, művészi játéka tüneményes volt, de ehhez méltó volt Korodini Ferenc hangja, fellépése, játéka, egész teljesítménye! Földessy Lilla és Havasi Mimi angyali játékát a közönség nyiltszini tapssal honorál­ta, Körmendi Árpád gordonka búgásu hangja most is elbűvölte a hallgatóságot, amit pedig megnevettetésben Gáthy Tibor produkált, az felülmúlta mindenki várakozását, kivéve a miénket, akik meg is irtuk, hogy: Gáthy Tibor szellemes és kellemes komikuma a régi Pest legnagyobb művészeinek legszebb teljesítményeivel —egyenér­tékű!
