Family tradition says that the carpet was made in the weaving workshop of the school's textile department led by the founder of the workshop (1906) Hungarian painter and graphic artist Artúr Lakatos (1880-1968), thus the high-quality woven textile of a fine design might have been planned by Artúr Lakatos.
