) Thefirst antependium (fig. 7) According to the inventory, the antependium or frontal decorated with scenes form the life of Christ (Vienna or Prague, c. 1340) was a gift from Duke Albrecht II to the main altar of Königsfelden convent (which had been founded in memory of his father, Albrecht I of Habsburg, upon his death in 1308).
