No.: 97.31 So-called "Mobile rings" - two pieces László Fördős, Budapest, 1992 14 carat gold, granite and moonstone, resp. 14 carat gold, silver, crystal Diameter: 3.6 x 2.3 cm, 3.5 x 2.1 cm Each is a round, two-layer band, moderately widening, with unpolished embellishment in parts. A semi-spherical head protrudes from the band on a short stalk: in its hollow a small rod sticks out as an extention of the stalk. One of the rings is embellished with a moonstone, in a cabochon setting, around the stalk two granite spheres are able to revolve. The other ring is similar; on this, on a thinner rod projecting from the stalk there is a silver sphere with "golden thorns", and around the stalk two crystal spheres. Each ring is marked on the inside with the name of the master: "FÖRDŐ S". Purchased from the artist with money secured through competition from the National Cultural Found, 1997.
