5. „Kárpit határok nélkül" - szövött kárpit Színes gyapjúfonál, szövés gobelin-technikával Negyvenhat textilművész terve és kivitelezése, akik 1996. június 14. és augusztus 31. között Szombathelyen a 14. Magyar Textilbiennálé résztvevői voltak. 350x300 cm Hell Miksa, a neves jezsuita földrajztudós és csillagász 1772. évi, „A Kárpát-medence és vidéke a Honfoglalás idején" című térképe alapján készült az úgynevezett „közös gobelin", amely a történeti Magyarország stilizált domborzati képét ábrázolja. "Tapestry Without Frontiers" - woven tapestry Coloured wool thread, woven using the gobelin technique Designed and executed by forty-six textile artists who had participated at the 14th Hungarian Textile Biennale, held in Szombathely betwen June 14 and August 31,1996 350x300 cm This so-called "joint gobelin" was made on the basis of the map entitled "The Carpathian Basin and Its Environs at the Time of the Hungarian Conquest" (1772), by Miksa Hell, the famous Jesuit geographer and astronomer. The gobelin presents a stylized picture in relief of Historical Hungary.
