day Life, could be seen (arranged by Zsuzsanna Renner; from 4 June to 5 December) then the Furisode. Woman' s Robe with Swinging Sleeves, the new acquisition of our Japanese collection was displayed (arranged by Mária Ferenczy; from 16 December to 23 January, 1994). In the Ráth György Museum, together with our permanent exhibitions, the Art of China and the Art of Japan, many visitors have seen the exhibitions Chinese Family Shrine on New Lunar Year's Day (arranged by Györgyi Fajcsák, from 23 January to 15 June), Chinese Painting of the 17 th-19th Centuries (arranged by Györgyi Fajcsák; from 22 June to 5 November) and Mongolian Costumes (arranged by Judit Vinkovics; from 5 October to 28 March, 1994). From 5 April another renovated hall of the museum houses our Korean furniture collection, arranged in an authentic suite, entitled the Korean Scholar's Studio at the End of the 19th Century (arranged by Ildikó Nagy and Györgyi Fajcsák). Leaflets accompany each of the mini-exhibitions. Mária Ferenczy
