Porcelain, Ákos Tamás, Herend Porcelain Factory, 1990 Height: 31,2 cm, Foot diam.: 13 x 6,6 cm, Top diam.: 16,5 x 9,8 cm The lozenge-shaped base supports a broadening irregular body of two sides. The surface resembles a relierf map. Each side has layers of varied colours: pink, blue, dark and four light grey stripes, and one with different shades of white on the two sides. Bears the Herend mark impressed on the bottom, and the blue factory mark with the Kossuth coat of arms stamped on top of the glaze. The maker's mark, „DESIGNED BY Tamás Ákos", appears below, in italics. Presented by the Herend Porcelain Factory. Inv. No. 91. 14. 1 32. Vase Undamaged Porcelain, Ákos Tamás, Herend Porcelain Factory, 1990 Height: 34,8 cm, Top diameter: 12 cm, Foot diameter: 9,5 cm The high, cylindrical vase has a robe sculptured of white mass and masses of three different shades of grey. The grey stripes are wavy and zig-zaggcd. The wavy top rim has a steep curve upwards, and then a slighter curve towards the folded part of the robe. The side is pierced through with irregular ovals below the top rim. Bears the Herend mark impressed on the bottom; the blue factory mark with the Kossuth coat of arms is stamped on top of the glaze. Vase Undamaged Porcelain, Ákos Tamás, Hcrend PorcelainFactory, 1990 Height: 29,3 cm, Top diameter: 13,6 cm, Foot diamter: 12,4 cm The high, cylindrical body is flattened to an oval-like form on two sides. The folded robe of mass layers is coloured white and three shades of grey. The layers join each other in a wavy line. One of the longer sides is decorated with a moulded, diagonal trellis of ovals. The top rim has a steep curve along the two short sides, while towards the folded part it curves gently. Bears the Hcrend mark impressed on the bottom; the blue factory mark with the Kossuth coat of arms stamped on lop of the glaze. The maker's mark, „DESIGNED BY Ákos Tamás", appears in italics below. Vase Undamaged Porcelain, Ákos Tamás, Herend Porcelain Factory, 1990 Height: 30,7 cm, Foot diam.: 9,4 cm, Top diam.: 11 cm The thin, cylindrical vase has a folded robe of white, pink, ochre, grey and bluish grey mass. The surface is decorated with embossed folds, abstract patterns, and the transfers of various marks, etched into plaster. The sides are pierced through with irregular ovals just below the top rim. Bears the Herend mark impressed on the reverse, with the blue factory mark with the Kossuth coat of arms stamped on top of the glaze.
