Length: 48 cm The parasol is covered with ivory-coloured georgette, trimmed with ruffled frills. It is decorated with applied plush flowers in grey, purple, pink, and bluish-green. Tapestry, Grand Canyon Livia Pápai, 1989 Tapestry weaving, of polychrome wool and silk. Length: 223 an, Width: 300 cm The bottom third of the triangle-shaped pic­ture is divided into three horizontal fields. The bottom strip of brownish-black wool depicts the rocks of the Grand Canyon, with a sky of blue, white and natural silk thread with hachure technique. Trimmed with pink cotton ribbon all round. Farkas, 1988—1989 Tapestry weaving, of polychrome wool. 125 x 72 cm Each of the four pieces is in the shape of an oblong and is of similar composition: the surface is covered with foliage motifs, divided into broad horizontal and vertical strips or rectangular shapes. The colours vary with the different seasons: I. Autumn — light purple; II. Winter — white, light yellow and pink; III. Spring — light green, brownish pink; IV. Summer — green and yellow. Tapestry, The Bermuda Triangle Ida Lencsés, 1989 Tapestry weaving, of wool and metal thread. Sides: 141 cm The tapestry is in the shape of an upturned triangle; the abstract motifs use the colours white, blue, brown, golden and silver. The corners are cut; the middle, hexagonal, field is embellished with scattered golden trian­gles, while the border is trimmed with gol­den serrated motifs.
