In order to hold the nut, the straight arms at the upper end are notched inside, the handles are supplied with spiral ribbon-like decoration divided by strings of pearls. At the end there are acorn-shaped knobs. The handles of the instruments for removing walnuts from their shells are similar to those of the nutcracker proper, but are narrower.
