Ht. 29,5 cm, Ht. 15,5 cm. csek, in their form and decoration, as well, but the latter are more valuable considering their not exaggerated formal solution, their smooth irizing surface and individuality. The decorative objects made by József Rippl-Rónai (1861—1927), bear the weight of an individual personality in Hungarian Art Nouveau. Contrary to his paintings, his decorative objects show to us the influence of the tradition of English and Belgian Art Nouveau in a larger scale than of the Franch school. He attributed central and basical importance and determining role to the designing of complete intérieurs, his glass designs were part of his large-scale dining room design, made for Andrássy counts, in Tőketerebes (Trebisov). In hat interiour, designed in 1897—98 for Count Tivadar Andrássy, there were decorative glasses, a glass window and glass ceiling, lamps made in combination of glass and metal, furniture of mahoganny, table set made of ceramics and embroidery-picture entitled „Lady in Red". 113
