At the time of beginning of the Mexican theatre-building the Italian government having seen the Hungarian conspicious success at the Milan exhibition offered — purely out of sympathy — a piece of ground in the Venetian Giardino Pubblico to Hungary, for setting permanent exhibition hall up, on condition that Maróti has to draw up the plans. Maróti's original exhibition architecture served as pattern to several Italian exhibition pavilions so in Faenza, Torcello, Vicenza, Work started on the permanent exhibition 137
