The several thousand people hold­ing theatre embodies concert hall, restaurant and café as well. Maróti could be active on it once as architect, painter and sculptor and got the works carried out by Hungarian firms on the basis of measurement on location. The Mexican theatre is a typical product of that epochal taste, an art relic nowadays, stands inchanged in the center of the town. All that Maróti added to are characteristic of that age as well : symbolic contents, alle­goric phraseology making use of fine mate­rials and luxurious fulfilement (Fig. 4, 5).
