Museum. Kurashiki: Ohara Art Museum, New Art Museum and Pottery Hall, Mu­seum of Folk Crafts. Hakone: Hakone Art Museum. Nikko: Toshogu Treasure House, Nikko Museum. Besides the above museums he visited numerous art exhibitions, workshops and wood-block printing ateliers. He made researches in libraries relating to the history of Japanese applied arts and to the illustrations of the Genji Monogatari, and collected analogies to some pieces of our Museum. He had consultations with several Japanese institutions about the exchange of art exhibitions and of modern works of art, graphics and folk craft objects. Versbitz­kij, Director of State Museum of History, Moscow; Sveni Salva, Grusian journalist, Tbilisi; and the members of the Smith­sonian Institution's Friendly Society being on a study tour in Europe. 8.
