his lecture delivered in the Lipotvarosi Kaszino (Casino of Lipotvaros) on the 16th October, 1900, On the "Language of Lines". The frontispiece was designed by Crane in Budapest (Fig. 11). As the "Magyar Iparmuveszet" reported: The master has come to Hungary together with his family and is received everywhere with great honour. Besides the capital he is going to visit Pecs, where he will be entertained by the Zsolnay family, and is invited further by the towns of Szeged, Kolozsvar and Miskolc which he will call upon, too, before his departure. 1 ' 1 In the connection of Crane's Budapest exhibition, may we finally refer to the letter of the Master addressed to director Radisics from London, according to which Crane agreed that the Museum should purchase some of his works for 51 pounds.
