Wenger poses the question, in his work about anatomical variations (1974), whether ossa wormiana can be called an anomaly ifit is so frequent. We found wormiana bones in 14 cases in our cemetery. From these we found left side ones in 7 cases (9.27%): on the crania of three males (grave 14, Inv. number 10.594; grave 27, Inv. number 10.604; grave 303, Inv. number 10.666) (4.17 %), two females (grave 15, Inv. number 10.596; grave 22, Inv. number 10. 599) (2.78%) and two juvenile individuals (grave 12, Inv. number 10.591; grave 106, Inv. number 10. 647) (2.78 %). Right-side ossa wormiana occurred in two cases (2. 78 %), on a female (grave 30, Inv. number 10. 606) and on a juvenile skull (grave 10 6, Inv. number 10.647), both in 1.39 %. Both-sides ossa wormiana could be seen on one male, one female, one juvenile (grave 13/a, Inv. number 10.593; grave 31, Inv. number 10. 607; grave 302, Inv. number 10. 665) and two Infans II. skulls (grave 46, Inv. number 10. 610; grave 97, Inv. number 10. 638), altogether in five cases (6.94 %). Sutura mastoideosquamosa occurred on the left side of a juvenile cranium (grave 12, Inv. number 10.591) (1. 39 %). Sutura sphaenoparietale could be found on one female cranium (grave 75, Inv. number 10. 624) (1.39 %). Torus palatínus sagittalis was perceptible in four cases (5. 56 %), on three male (grave 51, Inv. number 10. 611, grave 54, Inv. number 10. 613, grave 300, Inv. number 10.664), and one juvenile (grave 302, Inv. number 10.665) skulls. The variations and abnormalities of postcranial skeleton are as follows: Perforatio fossae olecrani humeri could be found in four cases. On the left arm of the woman lying in grave 122 (Inv. number 10. 652), on both arms of a male (grave 303, Inv. number 10. 666), and a juvenile individual (grave 106, Inv. number 10. 647). Sacrum bifidum occurred in six cases in the material of our cemetery. In caudal position it occurred on two males (grave 126, Inv. number 10. 655; grave 30 3, Inv. number 10. 666), two female (grave 33, Inv. number 10.608; grave 106/a, Inv. number 10. 648) one juvenile (grave 302, Inv. number 10. 665) persons' sacrum. It was perceptible on the whole sacrum in one female's case (grave 30, Inv. 10.606). Summing up the above, it can be stated that anatomical variations and abnormalities occurred on the skulls of Infans II. age in two cases (2. 78 %), in six cases (8. 33 %) of juveniles, and of grown-ups in sixteen cases (22.22 %). From, the 16 cases of grown-ups fewer occurred at males (7 cases, 9.7 %) and more at females (9 cases, 12.5 %). The abnormalities of skeletal bones occurred in two cases on the skeletal bones of juveniles and in eight cases on those of grown-ups (3 males, 5 females) (Table 5). ANALYSIS OF PRIMARY TAXONOMICAL CHARACTERISTICS Without the analysis of primary taxonomical characteristics, the approximation of any historical populations is incomplete (Tóth 1964). We considered the complex analysis of the characteristics the most important, but we also' n.ns.iycrcd the cnaracteristics individually to check the conectness of registering of the principial race components (Tables 9, 10, 23 and 24). Analysing the nasomalar angle (Martin 77) we found, at males in two cases (146.8, Inv. number 10.657; 146.5, Inv. number 10. 666) and at the females in one case (150.0, Inv. number 10. 602), values, which are very near to those of the Mongoloids. In the examined population fraction (males and females) the mean values of nasomalar angle is similar to the Europoids' values. Examining the values of the zygomaxillar angle in case of males found the angle values of crania Inv. number 10. 611. 10. 615. to be intermediary between the Europoids' and the Mongoloids' group-averages. The individual data of females - as well as the average values of male and female series - are close to those of the Europoids. The value of dacryal subtense (PS) that of is near to Mongoloids on the male cranium Inv. number 10. 611 (10. 5). The value is similar (10.0) in case of female crania Inv. number 10. 624 and 10.651. From the point of view of averages, both male and female series are similar to those of the Europoids.
