of graves marking the lower timelimit of the cemetery, and it is shown in respect of the anthropological components too. No similarity can be found with the Avar population originating from beyond the Tisza. At Tiszavárkony some similarity can be seen us to the anthropological components but it is not supported by metric data. As it can be seen our material shows no similarity whatever with Transdanubian series. With series originating from between Duna and Tisza similarity can be found only in one case, Jászdózsa - and one more with the females of the Szatymaz population. Similarity with the rest of the series can not be demonstrated . Some smaller or greater similarity can be shown with a few series originating from Tiszántúl. It is to be noted that no similarity is found with series from beyond the Tisza dating from the Avar age . Since the material studied here is incomplete it does not represent the given population so it is hard to drawn conclusion as regards it belonging to any ethnic group. At any rate it appears not to be different from the population of the given area originating from the same age. The elaboration of the material proposes to submit more data to the better knowledge of the population of this area. LOTTERHOF, E.: Adatok az Észak-Alföld (Tiszalök-Rázompuszta) Árpád-kori népességének antropológiájához Szerző vizsgálata során feldolgozta a Tiszalök-Rázompuszta(Szabolcs-Szatmár megye) területéről feltárt XI. századi temetők embertani anyagát. Összesen 108 sír csontvázanyagát vizsgálta: 56 férfi, 45 nő és 7 fiatalkorú. A fiatalkorúak kis száma részben a hiányos feltárással, részben az anyag egy részének elpusztulásával magyarázható.
