terial under discussion showed sacrum bifidum extending over the whole sacrum in two cases (Graves 7, 13), and a caudally situated sacrum bifidum in one case (Grave 6). The perf oratio fossae olecrani humeri,or in WELLS' s (1965) terminology the epitrochlear foramen, occurred in Graves 13, 18, 20 - in every case in females. It is the perforation of the fossa olecrania at the distal epiphysis of the humerus. TAXONOMIC ANALYSIS Only five skulls were suitable for taxonomic study, those of 2 males and 3 females. All belong to the Europoid great race. Meso-dolichocranial elements predominate, while the brachycranial group is represented in one case only. One of the males belongs to the Mediterranean race, representing within it the Atlanto-Mediterranean type, mixed with some unidentifiable element. The other male, permitting taxonomic evaluation, shows Cromagnoid-A features, mixed with Mediterranean elements. In the females, the Mediterranean race is also represented; one skull belongs to the gracile Mediterranean type. A representative of the Nordoid race is also present, mixed with some other element. The single brachycranial skull of the taxonomically assessable material displays Alpins characteristics. No attempt is made here to characterize the several taxa. Reference is made instead to LIPTÁK* s university handbook (1969), and to his other worke (1962, 1965), containing a detailed characterization of these taxa.
