We live in different parts of the world but in spite of the great distance we have a lot of feelings and thoughts - like the belief and trust in God - in common. We are writing to inform you about our situation here and ask for your help to support our intention that we should be able to build a new Roman Catholic Church in our town. The present local church was built almost 100 years ago and it needs restoring. We have the intention of changing our old small church into a bigger one. Discussing it with the Archbishop of Eger, he agreed with us completely and promised help, but being a socialist state for more yhan 40 years without government support, the church cannot provide the financial funds. We would be grateful if you could give us any kind of help. Our aim is to collect the necessary foundation money and to start the construction around the turn of the millennium. We are going to erect the new church for God s glory, that is the reason we dare to ask you for help. Please make this intention possible with both prayers and money.
