The decorations came in handy for the holiday season. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Armel for their donation of Hallow­een cookies for our party this year. As always, they were a hit with the residents. Valley School grades K through 3 for the wonderful Fall door decorations you made for our residents. They were a welcomed surprise. The School-Age-Program at the Ligonier YMCA for all the toiletries, Halloween cards and goodies sent to our residents. Resident Pearl Gyorfy and family for their recent holiday donation of breakfast rolls for our staff this holiday season. Barbara Myers for all the snacks and goodies for the staff this holiday season. It was greatly appreciated. The Avonell Horner family for their donation of home­made bake goods for the staff. The Byers Tosh American Legion Auxiliary Unit #267 of Ligonier, PA for their recent donation to the Activ­ity Department for our Home's Veterans. The VFW Kooties for the holiday party, fruit baskets and entertainment they provided for our residents this holiday season. A fun time was had by all. KING AND QUEEN OF HEARTS NOMINEES The Activity Department will be holding their annual King and Queen of Hearts Contest starting February 1 st. Families, residents, friends and staff are encour­aged to vote for their favorite King and Queen nomi­nees. Winners will be announced at the Valentine Party.
